What Are Neuromodulators?
BOTOX®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau are all neuromodulators, injectables that temporarily relax specific facial muscles to soften the lines caused by movement and expression. They don’t change your features. They simply ease the repeated creasing that deepens fine lines over time, so your skin looks smoother and more rested.
They are FDA-approved, well-studied, and one of the most common cosmetic treatments for a reason: when done conservatively, they’re subtle, predictable, and easy to build on. They’re part of our aesthetics services, alongside microneedling, skin health, and a menu of aesthetic add-ons.
Three Options at GlowCo
We offer Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau so your provider can match the product to your goals. The right choice depends on the area and the look you’re after.
BOTOX®
The most familiar ($12/unit)
The longest track record of any neuromodulator and the name most people know. A reliable, well-studied choice for softening movement lines.
Dysport®
The fastest to settle in ($4/unit)
Tends to spread slightly more, which can make it a nice option for larger areas like the forehead. Some clients also report it settling in a little sooner.
Jeuveau
The newest option ($12/unit)
Often called “Newtox,” Jeuveau is the newest neuromodulator on the market. It works similarly to BOTOX® and is a popular choice for clients looking for a smooth, refreshed look.

We begin gently and check in with you. We’d rather have you come back for a small touch-up if you want a little more than send you out the door over-treated.

We assess how your muscles actually move before we draw anything up. Everyone’s anatomy is different, and your dose should reflect that.
How It Works
Step 01
Book Your Consultation
Meet with your provider in person at our Gilbert or Queen Creek clinic. We’ll talk through what’s bothering you, how you want to look, and any past experiences with tox.
Step 02
Get a Plan, Not a Pitch
Your provider will assess your facial movement and recommend a starting dose. We’re conservative on purpose, so you’ll always know what we’re injecting and why.
Step 03
Quick, Comfortable Treatment
Most appointments take 15 to 30 minutes. You’ll feel a small pinch with each injection. No downtime and no recovery beyond avoiding heat and pressure on the area for a few hours.
Step 04
Follow Up & Adjust
We invite clients back about two weeks later to see your results and add a few units if anything needs a small adjustment. After that, most clients return every 3 to 4 months.
Neuromodulator FAQs
It varies. Everyone’s facial muscles move differently, so we tailor the dose to your anatomy and how natural you want your results to look. Most clients fall into common ranges (like ~12–20 units for the "11s"), but we always assess your movement first and start conservatively so you never feel over-treated.
Most clients see results last 3 to 4 months. Dosing, metabolism, muscle strength, and treatment area all affect how long it lasts. If you’re very active or have strong facial muscles, you may metabolize it slightly faster.
Most clients notice softening within 4 to 7 days, with full results around two weeks. Some clients report that Dysport® can show results a day or two earlier, but the timing varies from person to person.
Not the way we dose it. Our conservative approach is designed to soften lines while preserving natural movement. You should still be able to laugh, frown, and raise your eyebrows. If you’ve ever felt over-treated elsewhere, tell us. We’ll start lower and build slowly.
It’s a quick visit with a fine needle and only mild discomfort for most people. Most clients return to their day right after, with minimal downtime. Your provider will share simple aftercare at your appointment.
All three are neuromodulators that relax muscle to soften lines. BOTOX® is the original and the most studied. Dysport® tends to kick in slightly faster and may spread a bit more, which can be helpful for larger areas. Jeuveau is the newest option and works similarly to BOTOX®. Your provider will help you choose based on your goals.
There’s a small pinch with each injection, but most clients describe it as very tolerable. No numbing is typically needed. If you’re nervous, just let us know, we’re here to help!
