GlowCo Wellness + Aesthetics

Lead Esthetician

Gilbert, AZ  |  In-Person  |  Hourly + Commission + Retail + Tips

We know most job descriptions sound the same. So we're going to skip the fluff and just tell you what this actually is and let you decide if it excites you as much as it excites us.

GlowCo Wellness + Aesthetics is a boutique medical practice in Gilbert, AZ founded by Jillian Fulton, FNP-BC. Jillian is a nurse practitioner who built GlowCo because she was tired of the kind of care that rushes people through 15-minute appointments and tells them their labs are "normal" when they clearly don't feel fine. She specializes in medical weight loss, hormone therapy, peptides, and neurotoxins, and she's built a fiercely loyal group of clients who trust her completely.

Earlier this year, she built out a dedicated treatment room: equipment, professional product lines, foundational protocols, the whole thing. Now she's looking for the right esthetician to come in, make it their own, and bring what we've built to life.

This is your room.

Not "a" room. Your room.

You'd be the esthetician at GlowCo. There's no senior esty above you, no one telling you how to run your facial or which products to use. Jillian is down the hall doing what she does, and she trusts you to own everything that happens in the treatment room. You bring the expertise. You build the experience. You grow the book.

Jillian is easy to work with, genuinely collaborative, and wants your input. If you have an idea for a new service, a treatment you've been wanting to add, or something you think could be better, she actually wants to hear it. This is the kind of place where your professional opinion matters and you won't have to fight to be heard.

We also have a professional marketing agency managing GlowCo's growth, so you're not on your own when it comes to getting found. There's paid advertising, a website that already ranks locally, an email list, and an active social presence, and the marketing team will actively help promote you and your work.

Let's be honest about the book.

The room is built. The book is not.

GlowCo's client base grew up around wellness, weight loss, hormones, and Botox. There's real crossover with the treatment room, but it isn't a full calendar waiting for you on day one. Some weeks early on, you may see one client and go home.

We'd rather tell you that now than have you find out in month two. Here's what it means for the person we hire: you need to be someone who builds. Someone who has grown a book before and knows how it's done. Someone with clients who would follow them. Someone who posts their work and treats social media as marketing, and who sees a quiet afternoon as time to fill the next one. The compensation below is built with that ramp in mind, with an hourly floor on every service hour and paid hours every week for the work that fills the calendar.

If you're looking for a full book handed to you, this isn't it. If you want to build a book you actually own, with a medical practice, a marketing team, and a founder behind you, keep reading.

Here's the part that's actually different.

Most estheticians work in a vacuum. You see a client with stubborn hormonal acne or accelerating skin aging and you do everything you can, but you can't order a hormone panel. You can't dig into what's driving it beneath the surface. You're limited to the skin in front of you.

At GlowCo, that wall doesn't exist.

Jillian is right there. That means you can work together on cases where hormones, weight, or metabolic health are clearly playing a role in what's happening on the skin. It's a level of collaboration (and a level of results) we're excited for the right esthetician to be part of.

There's also a built-in client base that very few treatment rooms have access to: patients who are actively losing weight, rebalancing hormones, and transforming how they feel in their bodies. As weight comes off, skin laxity, volume loss, and accelerated aging often follow. Jillian already has clients coming in regularly for Botox, plus existing facial and microneedling clients who need a new home in the treatment room. These clients already trust the practice, and many of them need exactly what you do. That's your starting point. The rest is yours to build.

What you'd be building

Two programs are at the core of the treatment room. Both are designed around GlowCo's unique position as a medical practice, and what sets GlowCo apart from traditional spas.

Skin Support During Weight Loss

When patients lose significant weight, the skin often doesn't keep up. Laxity, crepey texture, volume loss, dullness. It happens, and it can be discouraging for someone who's worked hard to get where they are. GlowCo is perfectly positioned to get ahead of that conversation.

You'd build out a program centered on skin tightening and collagen support: structured packages that align with a client's weight loss journey, with consults offered right at their regular check-in appointments. The referral pipeline is already there. You're just bringing the expertise to meet it.

Acne Program with a Medical Edge

A structured acne-clearing program (Face Reality or a comparable protocol) is already a strong offering on its own. Repeat visits, retail, real results. But at GlowCo, you'd be working alongside a provider who can actually test and treat the hormonal side of acne. That's a combination most acne clients have never had access to, and it's a genuinely powerful thing to be able to offer.

Day to day, you'd be:

  • Performing facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, SkinPen microneedling, and other esthetic services with skill and confidence
  • Consulting with clients to assess their skin, goals, and any contraindications, and recommending long-term treatment plans, not just booking whatever's popular
  • Educating clients on skincare and home-care regimens, and keeping your product knowledge sharp enough to support both retail and service sales
  • Building real relationships that drive rebooking and long-term client retention
  • Connecting with GlowCo's existing wellness clients and introducing them to what you offer
  • Promoting GlowCo and your own work on social media, and keeping your professional account active
  • Working with the marketing team on content, promotions, and campaigns to keep your schedule growing
  • Helping develop and refine treatment protocols, service offerings, and product lines, and bringing ideas to Jillian when you see an opportunity
  • Keeping your room, tools, and linens clean, sanitized, and ready to go, and arriving early enough to set up for the day
  • Staying on schedule so every client gets the full, unrushed experience they booked
  • Completing client documentation and charting in a timely manner

Who we're looking for

There's no senior esthetician here to train you up, and the room needs someone who can run it from day one. So this time around, experience matters: at least three years of hands-on aesthetic treatment work. Beyond that, we care about the kind of esthetician you are. Technically skilled, client-focused, and someone who takes real pride in their work.

You need to have:

  • An active Arizona Esthetician License
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience performing aesthetic treatments (required)
  • Real hands-on experience with SkinPen or another microneedling device
  • Confidence performing advanced treatments like chemical peels and dermaplaning
  • A background in a medical or clinical spa environment (you know what working alongside providers feels like)
  • Strong product knowledge. You know your ingredients, and you're not shy about recommending the right regimen
  • Comfort with sales. You understand that rebooking and retail are part of giving great care, not separate from it
  • A track record of building your own book, and ideally clients who would follow you
  • An existing professional social media presence, and an understanding that social media is marketing

You'd be a great fit if:

  • You're passionate about medical aesthetics and hungry to keep learning: new products, new tech, new techniques
  • You're empathetic and professional, and clients trust you with their care plans because you've earned it
  • You're a true team player with a warm, positive, can-do attitude
  • You're comfortable being in your room on your own and don't need someone looking over your shoulder
  • You're the kind of person who notices something that could be better and says something, not because you were asked, but because you care
  • You understand (or want to learn) how hormones and metabolic health show up in the skin
  • You've worked with packages or memberships and know how to have that conversation naturally
  • You have experience with a structured acne program. Face Reality certified is great, but we're open to equivalent training
  • You like the idea of being part of building something, not just filling a slot in someone else's system
  • You're open to expanding your scope. We'd love to find someone interested in getting their Aesthetic Medical Assistant Certification. It's not a requirement, but it's a real opportunity to grow in a unique way.

Compensation

We've structured this so you're paid while you build, and paid more as the book grows.

Service hours: For booked service hours, you earn the greater of $22 per hour or 30% commission on services performed. Once your service sales reach $6,000 per month for three months in a row, your commission moves to 35%.

Build hours: An average of 5 paid hours per week at $22 per hour for social media, consultations, meetings, and other assigned responsibilities.

Retail: 20% commission on retail sales.

Tips: 100% of your tips.

What we can tell you: as the treatment room grows, the earning potential grows with it. We're not trying to squeeze a great esthetician into a bad deal.

The basics

Location: Gilbert, AZ (7400 S Power Rd, Unit 126)

Work location: In person

Schedule: Flexible. Let's talk

Experience: Aesthetic treatments, 3 years (required)

Benefits: Flexible schedule, opportunities for advancement

A little more on the schedule: GlowCo is open Monday through Saturday, with evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Evening and weekend availability is a real advantage for a treatment room, and Saturdays are a must while we're building the book. Outside of that, we'd rather build the schedule around what makes sense for you and your clients than force a structure that wasn't designed for a treatment room.

Products & treatments

GlowCo currently carries PCA Skin, Hydrinity, SkinBetter Science, Plated, and Jan Marini Skin Solutions. We value input from experienced estheticians and welcome thoughtful recommendations when expanding treatment options and product offerings.

While GlowCo is a medical practice, we do not offer laser treatments at this time. Microneedling is SkinPen only. Our goal is a strong treatment room centered on advanced esthetic modalities that deliver visible, natural-looking results.

Sound like you?

We'd love to hear from you. Send over:

  • Your resume or a quick background summary
  • A few sentences on what excites you most about this position
  • How many clients you think would follow you to GlowCo, and how you built your book
  • A link to your professional social media account
  • Before/afters or anything you're proud of from your treatment room (totally optional, but always appreciated)

We're a small team and we move quickly. If it feels like a fit, we'll reach out fast.
